Patanjali Shocks the Nation with New Electric Scooter at Just ₹14,499 – Is This the End of Petrol Bikes?

Haridwar, May 23, 2025 — In a game-changing move that could disrupt the two-wheeler industry, yoga and wellness giant Patanjali Ayurved has launched its first-ever electric scooter at a jaw-dropping price of ₹14,499!

Unveiled at Patanjali's sprawling campus in Haridwar, the sleek new scooter — dubbed the "Patanjali PowerRide EV" — promises to deliver eco-friendly, affordable, and Made-in-India mobility to millions of Indians. Swami Ramdev, the face of Patanjali, proudly introduced the vehicle, declaring it a "revolution for Bharat".

“This scooter is not just a vehicle, it’s a vision. A step towards self-reliance, clean energy, and economic freedom for common Indians,” Ramdev stated during the launch event.
Key Features of the Patanjali PowerRide EV:

Range: Up to 80 km on a single charge

Charging Time: 3.5 hours


Eco Mode & Turbo Mode

Built-in Ayurvedic Air Freshener Technology (yes, really!)


Industry experts are stunned. “This could be the Jio moment for the EV sector,” said one auto analyst. With its ultra-low pricing and massive brand following, Patanjali may force major scooter brands to rethink their pricing and strategy.

The PowerRide EV will be available in five vibrant colors and can be booked online via Patanjali’s official website or offline at over 10,000 Patanjali stores nationwide, starting June 1st.
